How it Works

Work Process

01

Schedule an introductory call

Dr. Klyushnik offers a free 15-minute phone consultation to better understand your concerns and for both of you to decide if this is a good match for your needs.

02

Book your first session

Dr. Klyushnik will come to your home for all your sessions, although a remote treatment option is also available. The first appointment will be an evaluation, which will include a detailed discussion of your symptoms and medical history, a physical exam and a short initial treatment.

03

Follow the recommended plan

Based on the evaluation results, Dr. Klyushnik will recommend the frequency and number of treatment sessions needed for the best outcome. She will also get you started on a home exercise program, which will enhance the effects of each session and speed up the recovery process.

Have Questions?

Frequently Asked
Questions

How do I know this is right for me?

Schedule a free phone call with Dr. Klyushnik to discuss your concerns and find out more about how she can help you.

How quickly will I see the results?

Depending on your problem, you can feel a relief in just one session or may need 4-8 sessions to start seeing a difference. Your success with treatments will largely depend on you attending appointments regularly and following the home exercise program. The more you put in, the better and faster results you will get.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require a 24-hour cancellation notice. If cancelling between 24 and 12 hours from your appointment time, you will be responsible for 50% of the visit fee. If cancelling with a less than a 12 hour notice (unless it is due to an emergency), you will be responsible for 100% of the visit fee.

How does billing work?

We have a simple billing system, which allows you to pay for services on a weekly or monthly basis.

How are you different from insurance-based clinics?

Because insurances have strict reimbursement rules and limits, most clinics often juggle several patients at a time, offer shorter sessions and limited types of treatments. Being an out-of-network provider allows Dr. Klyushnik to focus more on your individual needs, provide longer one-on-one 45 – 75 minute treatment sessions and help you in your home environment, adapting each exercise to what you can use independently.

How is physical therapy different from personal training, massage, chiropractic and other specialties?

Physical therapists are trained in a variety of interventions and modalities, which include manual techniques, joint mobilizations, exercise treatments and many others. It is a complex approach with the goal to get you back to your best self as soon as possible without the need to regularly rely on our services. At present, practicing physical therapy requires doctorate-level education and is strictly controlled by the state licensure board, holding each provider to the highest possible standards. Physical therapists base their decision-making process and treatment approaches on the best available scientific evidence. Physical therapy is a scientifically proven method to solving many musculoskeletal problems, including in the field of pelvic health, and is often the first line of treatment.

Do you take insurance?

Dr. Klyushnik is an out-of-network provider with all major insurance policies. She can provide you with a superbill that you submit to your insurance company in order to be reimbursed or have it count towards your deductible, if you have out-of-network benefits. Being out-of-network allows Dr. Klyushnik to provide the best possible care for your needs, make it more wholistic and prevent insurance companies from dictating treatment.

With her physical therapy and yoga backgrounds, Dr. Klyushnik selects the most suitable treatments and modalities needed for your specific problem. These can include:
